Did She Tell?

An acquaintance mentioned recently that he had compromised the ASL training of Washoe, the first chimp to learn to communicate in human words. She wandered into his office, and he yelled at her and chased her out.

Washoe’s two handlers chastised him for using words with her rather than signing. I want to know what she told the other chimps about being yelled at.
