Athlete's Soup

A bag of frozen petit pois peas left from treating an orthopedic mishap makes a fast, delicious, and easy meal. Empty the bag into a rice cooker. Add dried onion in proportion, a pinch of powdered garlic, and black, red, green, and white pepper to taste. Add judiciously sliced carrot-design the pieces to look good in contrast with the peas. Make them small so they cook in about the same amount of time.

Cover with water, enough to rehydrate the onion. Start the cooking cycle. When things are done, add some butter and curry powder to taste. Press some of the the peas into a mild mash and bind the soup with a sprinkling of granulated flour -30-
